Terms of Use

Last updated: October 5, 2026

These terms apply to the Quick Password Chrome extension. By installing or using it, you agree to them. If you don't agree, please uninstall the extension.

The service

Quick Password generates random passwords locally in your browser and can fill them into password fields or copy them to your clipboard. It is provided free of charge.

Your responsibilities

  • Quick Password is a generator, not a password manager: it does not keep a copy of the passwords it creates. Save every password you use, for example in a password manager, before you leave the page.
  • Check that the password was accepted by the website before relying on it.
  • Use the extension in line with the law and with the terms of the websites you visit.

No warranty

The extension is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose. It may not work with every website.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, the author is not liable for any loss or damage arising from the use of, or inability to use, the extension, including lost passwords, locked accounts or lost data.

Privacy

How the extension handles data is described in the Privacy Policy.

Changes

These terms may be updated. The new version will be published on this page with an updated date, and continuing to use the extension after that means you accept it.
